Piezas de ajedrez. Los gráficos de las piezas utilizados en el juego están basados en el conjunto «Cburnett», de Colin M. L. Burnett, conjunto clásico empleado por Wikipedia y Lichess y disponible bajo licencia múltiple (GFDL / BSD / GPL). Este proyecto los utiliza al amparo de los términos de la licencia BSD, que exige la conservación del siguiente aviso:

Tipografías. Las tipografías Cinzel y EB Garamond se utilizan y redistribuyen al amparo de la SIL Open Font License 1.1, que permite su uso comercial. Se sirven auto-alojadas desde el propio sitio, sin peticiones a servidores de terceros.
Contenido original. Las narrativas, los mapas SVG, el motor de ajedrez, el solver de certificación y todos los problemas del juego son obra original del proyecto History's Gambit. Las citas históricas reproducidas («alea iacta est», las actas del proceso de Ruan, la Declaración de Arbroath, entre otras) pertenecen al dominio público. Las crónicas se basan en hechos y fuentes históricas, no en obras de ficción protegidas por derechos de terceros.
Tecnología. El juego es un único archivo HTML autocontenido, sin frameworks ni dependencias externas de ejecución. Cada problema es verificado como mate forzado por un solver propio antes de su incorporación al juego.

Original content. The narratives, the SVG maps, the chess engine, the certification solver and all the puzzles in the game are original work of the History's Gambit project. The historical quotations reproduced («alea iacta est», the records of the Rouen trial, the Declaration of Arbroath, among others) are in the public domain. The chronicles are based on historical facts and sources, not on fictional works protected by third-party rights.
Technology. The game is a single self-contained HTML file, with no frameworks or external runtime dependencies. Every puzzle is verified as a forced checkmate by a custom solver before being added to the game.
